This DBL describes the special requirements, properties and planning data for parts with electrodeposited zinc and zinc alloy coatings and subsequent post treatment. Although the End-of-Life Vehicle Act does not currentlyapply to heavy-duty trucks or buses, for easons of variant reduction in new designs, consideration should be given to also specifying Cr(VI)-free surfaces for commercial vehicle parts.
